New Thanksgiving Activities for Kids!

Thanksgiving is a great time to teach kids gratitude, and having fun activities to help you do this makes it easy for everyone!

At Let’s Go Geography, we often try to sneak holiday activities in among all the geography goodness we offer, and Thanksgiving is one of those holidays!

A Thankful Book for Thanksgiving

Childs Printable Thankful Book

In the past, we offered a Thankful Book. This is a great download to print and have your student(s) create their very own book, documenting things they are thankful for in different areas of their lives.

It’s always good to stop and count your blessings. Making this priority reminds all of us how blessed we really are, and keeps us positive and encouraging!

This download has illustrations to color, and writing prompts with plenty of space for students to write.

But there’s more!

Thanksgiving Place Mats for Kids

Our latest Thanksgiving offering is a set of place mats for your Thanksgiving table! Put one (or more!) of these at each child’s place with a few crayons or colored pencils to give them some thankfully-minded activities to do before and after the meal.

This may also help keep them at the table longer than they might stay otherwise!

Thanksgiving Placemats for Kids

Choose from a few games, coloring, or puzzles! There are 5 different designs in the pack.

And what’s really great is that these place mats are sized for regular 8 1/2 X 11 copy paper, which makes things so easy.

Thanksgiving Placemats for Kids

Just download the place mat pack, print as many as you want, and set them at each child’s place at the table.

These a just a few of the fun activities to give you a little bit of extra fun for a special holiday event!

Enjoy! And stay thankful & blessed!! 🙂
