Geography for Kids: New Zealand

Geography for Kids: NewZealandGeography for Kids: NewZealandNew Zealand is a world all its own.  Technically not part of any continent, we group it with its neighbor, Australia, in what is called Oceana.  The landscape is jaw-droppingly beautiful, and all the sheep on just about every hillside add to its charm.  But you have to listen carefully when New Zealanders speak…the accent is, well, you just have to hear it!

The Let’s Go Lesson on New Zealand is in the last half of Semester 2.  Our coloring page is a traditional Maori art design of a turtle and our Featured Craft is a sheep—of course!
