Let’s Go Geography opens up the world as the best geography for Homeschool Co-ops because it makes things engaging and exciting for students. And the same co-op teacher can teach multiple age groups easily because the weekly themes stay the same for every grade.
All grades use the same Around the World curriculum. Just the activities change, based on the grade level of each class.
Co-op Geography for Grades K-2

Let’s start with Grades K-2.
They look at the pictures, watch video clips, and make a craft based on something significant about the country or culture of the week.
Easy. Fun. And they love it!
But what about the older grades? Isn’t there a lot more prep work for the teacher?
Not really. Since the same country is the theme for all classes, that part of teacher prep is easy. Yes, you will want to be very familiar with the country with help from your Teacher Keys. And grading papers will take time. But having the same theme for all ages streamlines things.
The teacher uses the same photos and video clips to bring the country to life for the class. And he or she will share the same basic facts to all classes.
Co-op Geography for Grades 3-5
So what does geography for Grades 3 and up look like?
They journal! They create glossaries! They explore maps! And, yes, they fill in the same country flags as the younger ones with the proper colors.
Grades 3-5 have Geography Journals. They add a new country every week. And this is what their Journals look like at the end of the year.
Co-op Geography for Middle School
Grades 6-8 take things a step further! They journal, and make glossares, and explore continent maps, but they create a Geography Atlas. AND they zero in on each country with country-specific maps that no other age group has.
Their Atlas looks like this at the end of the year:
Yes, Let’s Go Geography really does bring you the best geography for homeschool co-ops! Discover the wonders of the world with your students this year with Let’s Go!
